Custom doors design and analysis is one of our products at the speciality engineering section. In Miami-Dade County, each exterior door is required to have a product approval issued by the county to certify the door capacity to withstand a category 5 hurricane wind force. While product approvals are issued for building production doors, special product approvals are required for custom design doors. At Universal Engineering, we provide all engineering calculations and/or comparative analysis and certifications for site specific custom doors to meet the same wind requirements.
